Guests and RSVPs

Add guests one by one or import a CSV

You can begin with one name or bring in the whole list at once. Either way, you can edit guest details later. Add one guest: 1. Open Guests and choose Add guest. 2. Add their first and last name. 3. Choose one of your enabled wedding languages. Their invitation and site will open in that language. 4. Add an email if you want LumiWed to send their invitation. You can leave it empty while you are still building the list. 5. Choose whether they may bring additional guests, then save. Import several guests: 1. Open Guests and choose Import guests. 2. Download the CSV template, paste guest rows, or upload your CSV. 3. For a CSV import, include first_name, last_name, email, and language. You can also include plus_one_allowed and plus_one_limit. 4. Fix any row LumiWed flags, then import the list. Every imported row is checked before guests are added. A guest’s language must already be enabled in Content → Language Settings. The Free plan supports up to 50 guests; Premium supports up to 500.

Send each guest their personal invitation link

Each guest gets their own invitation link. It opens the right wedding, in that guest’s language, without asking them to create an account or remember a password. Before sending, make sure your couple names, contact email, wedding date, venue location, and the guest’s email are filled in. 1. Open Guests. 2. Check the guest’s name, email, language, and additional-guest allowance. 3. Use Send invite on that guest, or select several guests and send their invitations together. 4. Open a guest to see their Invite history and Magic link. You can copy the link or show its QR code when you want to share it yourself. If you regenerate a guest’s Magic link, every older invitation link and invite code for that guest stops working. Send the new one afterward. Free-plan invitations are paced by send availability. Premium invitations send immediately. The guest table shows whether each invite is scheduled, sent, failed, bounced, or rate limited.

What your guests see when they RSVP

Your guest’s experience is meant to be simple: open their personal link, read the site in their language, and reply without an account. When a guest opens their invitation, they can: 1. Say whether they are attending. 2. Choose the schedule events you made available for RSVP. 3. Add any allowed additional guests. 4. Share dietary needs and a note. 5. Answer your extra questions. 6. Choose whether their contact details may be shared with other attending guests, when you have enabled the guest list. They can return through the same personal link to update their response. If you set an RSVP deadline in Settings, new changes close after that day. You can see the response in Guests by opening that person. Their page shows RSVP status, additional guests, dietary details, notes, answers, and submission time. You can also reset an RSVP to pending or update the attendance status from there.

Set up plus-ones, dietary needs, and RSVP questions

LumiWed can collect the practical details your wedding really needs, without turning the RSVP into a questionnaire marathon. Additional guests: 1. In Settings, set the Additional guest invite cap for the whole wedding. 2. In Guests, choose whether each person may bring anyone and set their individual allowed count. Dietary needs: 1. In Settings, open Dietary options. 2. Choose the tags guests may pick. Leave the selection empty to offer every available dietary option. 3. Guests can also add other dietary notes. Your own questions: 1. Open Content and find Your own questions. 2. Add a short text, long text, choose-one, or yes-or-no question. 3. Mark it Required only when you truly need the answer before the RSVP is complete. 4. Drag questions into the order you prefer. In Settings, RSVP details order lets you arrange Events, Dietary & notes, Extra questions, and Contact sharing. You can also choose whether a simple yes counts as complete or whether LumiWed waits for required answers.
